APPLE, ZUCCHINI AND QUEEN OLIVES WARM SALADS
Queen is one of the juiciest European olives and its flavor marries perfectly with the sweetness of the apple and the softness of the zucchini. For proof try this colorful warm salad… There are no words!
- 3.5 oz. Queen olives
- 1 big zucchini
- 2 apples
- 1 cup of basil leaves
- White vinegar
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Cut the apple in half and then in half slices. Set aside in a bowl with water, ice and a splash of vinegar so they do not turn color. Cut the olives in half and set aside.
Cut the zucchini into thick sticks without discarding the skin. Heat a pan and sauté the zucchini with a little oil until they begin to brown. They should be at their point not well done. Set aside in a bowl.
Add the apples, extra virgin olive oil and mustard. Add salt to taste and mix well.
In a deep dish, we put our warm salad. Finish with basil fresh leaves and the Queen olives.
